It's official!—Prince has not only immortalized his amazing legacy as "The Artist" within the music and fashion worlds but also within the Graphic Design world by means of the Pantone® Color System! The official purple color has been dubbed, "Love Symbol #2" by the Pantone® Color board and will be available to us all during our next print-media Pantone® Color palette selection. I can't wait to see the option selectable via Adobe Illustrator dropdown color swatches! Prince's life and legacy, gone too soon, but the idea of retaining his creativity and his passion for the color purple through such mainstreams is truly a legacy and clearly respected by his universally beloved fans now immortalized forever. Let's hear it for the PURPLE REIGN! RIP WELL Prince Rogers Nelson, we will always love you as you will be with us on our next creative projects!
